For the fourth consecutive year, Réunion held its own pavilion at VivaTech 2026, Europe's largest tech conference (June 17-20, Paris). Five carefully selected startups represented the island's innovative ecosystem, supported by 9 institutional partners, in front of thousands of international investors and decision-makers.
Five startups, five technology bets
The five selected companies cover highly diverse sectors: AgentVox develops voice AI solutions for customer satisfaction; Eyako offers a cybersecurity management platform for IT managers; FIT.ai uses AI and data to optimise parking in smart cities; MediaBy provides an AI-powered media buying platform with strong commercial growth; MoSITouch, a biotech company, uses ecological sterile male mosquito releases to combat invasive species.
A fourth consecutive pavilion: an established presence
Réunion's participation in VivaTech has become a tradition. The Region's goal: to 'foster the international opening of Réunion businesses' and connect them to global investors and the diaspora. Support provided before, during and after the event by 9 partners reinforces the strategic dimension of the approach.
Why it matters
Réunion's presence at VivaTech illustrates the rise of a local startup ecosystem that no longer limits itself to the regional market. Sectoral diversity — biotech, AI, cybersecurity, smart city — proves that overseas French innovation can compete on the world stage. These companies pave the way for a new generation of internationally minded Réunion entrepreneurs.
